Will Wolfords's WILL POWER Foundation
The Mission of the Foundation is to benefit at-risk children, youth and their families throughout Greater Louisville by providing assistance, programs and events designed to build self-esteem, provide unique life changing opportunities and help them to set and achieve their life goals.
Specifically , we spend money raised on children in our community through "Blessings in a Backpack" (Roosevelt Perry Elementary School), Kosair Children's Hospital (Will's Locker - Basic toiletries and change of clothes for children in need), Nativity School, and other local charities

NEXT Fundraiser: Holiday party on Monday, December 8th @ Incredible Daves. 100% of Incredible Daves proceeds from the night will be donated to The Will Power Foundation- Thanks Dave!!. Santa Claus will be on hand for the little ones and a live band (Andrea Davidson will perform from 6 - 8) for everyone. We will have a silent and live auction as well. (One auction item that we will have is a Gibson Acoustic guitar signed by Charlie Daniels - Guitar retails for $1,800!!!)

THE V FOUNDATION FOR CANCER RESEARCH has raised over $80 million dollars in the fight against cancer. It has sponsored scientists doing research coast to coast, including right here in Louisville, and through the V BOCCE, the Celebrity Bocce tournament, it will fund the largest single site free prostate cancer screening in the U.S., in summer '09 in Louisville!

Occassionally we will offer auction items for our two charities, The V Foundation for Cancer Research, and the WillPower Foundation.
Last week we auctioned off a Rick Pitino signed Basketball and an ESPN banner signed by many on air talent (Mike Ditka, Tom Jackson, Stuart Scott, Trey Wingo, etc.)
